Salary
The estimated annual salary for this role is approximately $45,000 - $80,000, including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances.
Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic, where you'll have the chance to work with a range of vehicles, including the latest models and innovative vehicle technology. As a key member of our workshop team, you'll be responsible for performing minor repairs and servicing of vehicles and equipment, under the supervision of a qualified tradesperson.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- A completion of grade 10 or above high schooling or tertiary equivalent
- Good Mathematics, Science and English skills
- A strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, honesty, and commitment to completing your trade qualification
- A genuine interest in pursuing a career in the automotive industry
- Good communication skills
- A strong focus on safety in the workplace
Benefits
- Earning Potential: $45,000 - $80,000 including reasonable overtime loading and generous allowances (inc. superannuation)
- Annual Leave loading of 5% - 20% (dependent on consecutive shift type and pattern)
