With the surge in demand for innovative financing options and transactions in the infrastructure and renewables sector, we are seeking a seasoned Renewable Energy Specialist to join our Asia Pacific team.

This newly created role will be a core part of our Australia team, focusing on key markets across the Asia Pacific region. Our Infrastructure and Energy business will provide specialist transactional and advisory services to developers and investors in renewable energy assets, including solar PV, wind, hydrogen, and energy storage across the APAC market.

The team's expertise includes:

  • Strategic Transaction Advisory: disposal and acquisition of renewable energy assets (projects, portfolios, or platforms)
  • Equity Raising: seed, development, and construction capital
  • Debt Capital Markets: senior, junior, mezzanine, and HoldCo debt
  • Select Strategic Advice: commercial, financial, and strategic advice on renewables strategies and valuations, project appraisals, and PPA advisory

You will have the opportunity to work on mandates throughout the Asia Pacific region. Responsibilities will include:

  • Leading day-to-day execution of M&A transactions, equity/debt capital raises, and other client engagements by project-managing the day-to-day activities and coordinating all parties involved
  • Managing relationships with existing clients as well as internal and external stakeholders
  • Preparing financial models and transaction documents (e.g., teaser, IM, Q&A, etc.) as well as client deliverables
  • Supporting new business development opportunities through generating client leads and preparing pitches
  • Developing thought leadership materials and producing sector insights on the renewable market to build your personal brand
  • Supporting the growth and development of the Energy and Infrastructure team through various internal tasks
