Child Development Therapist Role

We are seeking a Child Development Therapist to join our team and contribute to the development of children with special needs.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering play-based therapy to children and families, collaborating with experienced clinicians, participating in regular supervision and peer mentoring, and gaining exposure to a wide range of clinical presentations and support needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver meaningful, play-based therapy to children and families.
  • Collaborate with and learn from mentors and experienced team members.
  • Participate in regular supervision, peer mentoring and team case discussions.
  • Gain exposure to a wide range of clinical presentations and support needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Speech Pathology (SPA) Registration or eligibility upon graduation.
  • Passion for supporting children and families.
  • Willingness to learn, ask questions and grow with support.
  • Strong values around teamwork, ethics, and kindness.
  • Some experience with paediatrics or the NDIS is desirable, but not essential.
