Occupational Therapist Position

Bestchance Child Family Care is seeking a skilled and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our Children's Therapy team. As an integral member of our team, you will work closely with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality services that cater to the unique needs of children aged 0-10 years.

The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for delivering individual and group clinical work, both in-clinic and community-based settings. This role requires a strong ability to develop positive working relationships with stakeholders and families from diverse backgrounds. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

">Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to meet the specific needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and their families.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify areas requiring occupational therapy intervention.
  • Communicate effectively with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination.
">Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, applicants must possess:

  • A relevant qualification in Occupational Therapy (e.g., Bachelor of Occupational Therapy or Master of Occupational Therapy).
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Proven experience working with children in occupational therapy settings.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
