Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Contract Management Specialist to join our team at the Transport Accident Commission. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing contract management strategies, overseeing enterprise-wide aspects of contract management, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

About the Role

This is a newly created position that presents an opportunity to develop our enterprise contract management strategy and framework from the ground up. You will work closely with the Corporate Legal & Compliance branch to ensure effective governance and support the organisation's strategic objectives.

About the Team

The Corporate Legal & Compliance branch is part of the Finance and Governance division. Our leadership group fosters a supportive culture, prioritising ethics, Health, Safety & Wellbeing, collaboration, and professional development for our people.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in developing contract management frameworks, policies, and procedures within a government environment.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of relevant government legislation and experience in procurement, contract, and category management activities.
  • Advanced written and verbal communication skills to drive contract management uplift across the business and support supplier contract negotiations.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to develop positive and trusted relationships with executive stakeholders and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated system experience, including practical experience in designing, implementing, and managing contracts and contract management systems.
