An exciting opportunity for an experienced Procurement Lead to join a Geelong based Community organisation on a 12 month fixed term contract

- **Provide end to end procurement and contracts management advice**
As the implementation Lead you will be responsible for devising, implementing and embedding enterprise-wide contracts and procurement practice at the community based centre. The Implementation Lead, with support of Procurement officer, will also oversee day-to-day procurement operations and contract management requirements of the Centre. You will be required to work from the office 1 or 2 days per week.
**Main responsibilities will include**:
- Devise, implement and embed an enterprise-wide contracts and procurement practice. This involves developing policy, defining business requirements, process and technology integration, to design and implement a procurement framework adhering to the requirements of the Victorian Government Purchasing Board (VGPB) relevant legislation, and with a focus on value for money, integrity and probity.
- Plan, develop and implement business process and system enhancements that improve the Centre's contract management maturity.
- Implement and administer organisation-wide contracts database and reporting system to ensure an audit trail is adequately documented for probity, accountability and audit purposes.
- Support and advise internal teams managing contract processes, including revenue related contracts.
- Conduct analysis to understand business requirements, including monitoring contract variations, expiring contracts and contract renewals.
- Coordinate relationship with Centre legal partner to ensure contract terms and conditions are appropriate and understood by all parties.
- Have substantial relevant experience in procurement, contracts review, governance, or finance management.
- Demonstrate experience implementing procurement and contract administration processes and technology and deep understanding of contract structure, terms and conditions.
- Have exceptional stakeholder engagement and management skills with key internal and external stakeholders.
- Have experience of working in a Local and State Government environment is desirable.
- Demonstrate people-leadership skills.
