The Opportunity

You will support our team and customers in managing the end stage of workers compensation claims. Your role will involve liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure efficient closures are completed to a high standard.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in the Newcastle office, with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the end stage claims process for workers who have experienced a workplace injury or illness, ensuring finalisation of all outstanding matters prior to closure to a high standard.
  • Assist injured persons and employers with the workers compensation end stage claim process and provide support in submitting relevant documents to finalise their claim.
  • Make contact with injured persons and internal and external stakeholders over the phone to ensure outstanding queries are managed effectively and accurately prior to finalisation of the claim.
About You

You must possess strong organisational and attention to detail skills, with the ability to multitask multiple priorities at once and manage your time to meet required timeframes. Demonstrated experience in customer service-based roles with a passion for helping people is essential.

An empathetic, resilient, and motivational approach is required to provide outstanding service to both internal and external stakeholders.
