
Supporting Vulnerable Families

This is a full-time, ongoing role based in Wendouree. We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Family Support Worker to join our team.
In this role, you will provide vital support through case management and group work to vulnerable children, young people, and their families who are being impacted upon by disadvantage.
You will work with individuals and families who present with complex issues including drug and alcohol, family violence, mental health, homelessness, and cycles of disadvantage and poverty.
About the Role:
- Provide case management and group work services to vulnerable children, young people, and their families.
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support clients' needs and goals.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure comprehensive service delivery.
- Maintain accurate records and reports as required.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in human services, disability, welfare, or social work (desirable).
- Current eligible motor vehicle license to drive in Australia.
- Sound knowledge of the underlying principles of the Children, Youth and Families Act 2005.
- Demonstrated knowledge of statutory requirements related to working with young people and their families.
- Demonstrated experience working with young people and families.
