The role of Strategic Distribution Leader is a high-level position that requires exceptional leadership and strategic planning skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop strong relationships with OEM partners to ensure successful distribution and business growth.
  • Design and align market strategies with OEM objectives to deliver on performance requirements.
  • Share regular market strategy and performance updates with the Leadership Team.
  • Influence OEM partner strategy and product decisions for the benefit of the markets.
  • Ensure delivery against all aspects of distributor agreements.
  • Negotiate and agree product portfolios and pricing with OEM partners.
  • Lead the distribution businesses to maximise commercial opportunities from existing partners.
  • Create and drive a strategic plan aligned to DE for distribution over a 5-year horizon.
  • Challenge the Leadership Team in developing key strategic initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities for additional revenue, cost reduction, growing margin, and new business opportunities.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans, especially within AOP, and implement mitigating actions when necessary.
  • Develop business plans, budgets, and strategies and ensure effective execution of these plans.
  • Drive commercial effectiveness by determining key financial drivers that add value while prioritising customer needs.
  • Build strong relationships with OEM partners and dealer networks to lead them to business success.
  • Collaborate with other group leaders to identify synergies across the value chain and opportunities within the group.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A deep understanding of the distribution industry, including market trends and challenges.
