Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sales Director to join our team at Accor Hotels. As a Sales Director, you will be responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing team to maximize market position and revenue growth for our hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in all selling activities within the hotel, working closely with Rooms, Food and Beverage, and other revenue-generating departments to maximize sales.
- Manage the Sales and Marketing team to achieve sales targets and maximize market share.
- Secure inbound corporate and domestic Conference and Incentive clients in agreed markets for the hotel.
- Maintain business from within this segment.
- Be aware of business peaks and troughs and contribute innovative ideas to drive revenue and profitability.
- Be proactive in controlling costs, being fully aware of forecasted business and targeted profitability while maintaining standards.
- Motivate and energize the staff to make proactive decisions in all their communications with clients.
- Lead and manage all day-to-day activities related to the sales function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships.
- Responsible for the training of sales team.
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management
- Excellent Communication Skills
- Ability to think strategically, inductively, and creatively
- Pleasant personality
- Synergies across the network
- Strong Operational/Technical Knowledge
- 8+ years' industry experience in up-market brands with 1 year of experience in a similar role
