Job Title: Surgical Instrument Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced surgical instrument specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleaning, assembly, inspection, wrapping, and sterilisation of surgical instruments and medical equipment meet the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean, assemble, inspect, wrap, and sterilize surgical instruments and medical equipment according to established procedures.
  • Work effectively in a team environment and independently with excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a sterilization unit or similar environment.
  • A positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and time management skills.
  • A current Police Record Check and Working with Children Check.
  • Proof of current influenza vaccination and other relevant vaccination status.
