Job Title: Site Development Specialist

Overview: Drive project success through meticulous planning, collaboration, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage building approvals, ensuring timely project progression by liaising with councils, certifiers, and stakeholders.
  • Prepare, lodge, and track permits, development applications, and related approvals to meet compliance requirements.
  • Foster relationships with local authorities, private certifiers, and other relevant bodies to resolve approval issues efficiently.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to secure supporting documentation from engineers, surveyors, and consultants.
  • Work closely with customer service and drafting teams to resolve approval challenges promptly.
  • Assist with contract administration and provide support to other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in Permits, Approvals, or Preconstruction roles within residential construction is essential.
  • Detailed knowledge of council processes, building codes, and approval necessities is a must.
  • Contracts administration experience is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence when interacting with external authorities are required.
  • High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving are necessary.
