Civil Engineer, Design Lead

We seek a results-driven Civil Engineer to spearhead design and construction in our data center campus projects. This role demands strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a history of delivering customer-focused results.

The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of local standards and council design requirements, as well as expertise in earthworks, grading, paving, storm water management, utility design, and landscaping.

  • Develop and maintain project documentation throughout the design and construction process.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to review site selection criteria and Due Diligence reports.
  • Collaborate with external consultants to manage civil/structural/architectural design services.
  • Ensure designs meet local grading, storm water, utilities, and pavement standards.
  • Communicate design standards effectively to project partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain design prototypes, template specifications, and design standards related to site design.
  • Review and release design RFPs.
  • Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Provide guidance on best practices for site design and development.

Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in relevant software and technology tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
