About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead our day-to-day financial accounting operations, ensuring compliance and partnering with stakeholders to enhance business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee accurate and timely month-end close and consolidated financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards, tax, and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage general ledger integrity, reconciliations, and internal controls.
  • Lead and support external audits, including half-year and full-year processes.
  • Identify and drive process improvements and automation initiatives.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and assess financial risk.
  • Lead and develop a high-performance finance team, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and senior executives.

Requirements:

  • Candidate must have a chartered accountant qualification with 5+ years' post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting knowledge, including lease accounting.
  • Proven leadership and team management skills.
  • Advanced ERP systems and Excel capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • High attention to detail with strong multi-tasking ability.
  • Deep understanding of statutory and management accounting principles.
  • Commercially minded with the ability to simplify complex concepts.
  • Proactive, analytical, and solutions-focused approach.
  • Energetic, results-oriented, and hands-on attitude.
  • Ability to influence and lead across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Strategic thinker with a practical mindset.
