
HR Support Specialist

We are seeking an HR Support Specialist to provide expert advice and support to our staff on HR-related matters. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for managing employee data, coordinating administrative processes, and providing timely advice to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate recruitment administration, including job vacancy advertising and supporting hiring managers.
- Manage onboarding and induction training for new starters.
- Coordinate off-boarding processes for employees exiting the organisation.
- Administer people and culture related documentation and correspondence.
- Provide advice to stakeholders on people and culture queries.
Key requirements for this role include:
- Ability to work independently with minimal direction and determine own priorities.
- Well-developed oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite, record keeping systems, and/or HR information systems.
- Ability to work in a confidential and sensitive environment, exercising discretion at all times.
Relevant tertiary qualification in HR or studying towards an HR-related qualification is essential. Experience within government would be desirable but not mandatory.
To succeed in this role, you must have a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with care.
