H&G is currently seeking a professional to join our team as a delivery driver offsider. As the face of our company, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and operating vehicles to collect and transport goods from one location to another.

The ideal candidate will have a valid licence, demonstrate expertise in operating assigned vehicles, and possess a positive attitude with a 'can do' approach. A completion of driver operations certificate is desirable but not essential.

Job Overview

The delivery driver offsider will play a vital role in ensuring that goods are delivered on time and in full. You will be required to load and unload goods, drive at all times in a legal and professional manner, and provide professional customer service at all times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport goods to and from various locations, ensuring punctual delivery and optimal condition on arrival
  • Load and unload goods efficiently and safely
  • Operate vehicles in a legal and professional manner, maintaining a high level of safety and security
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding promptly to customer queries and concerns
  • Maintain accurate records and paperwork, adhering to procedures and protocols
  • Co-operate with other departments to ensure smooth order preparation and delivery
  • Adhere to safe work practices, reporting any incidents or hazards to management
  • Undertake self-assessment on personal safety, adhering to lifting requirements and guidelines

  • Goods delivered on time in full: KPI assigned deliveries achieved or exceeded
  • Deliveries per day: KPI xx to xx
  • External customer feedback: positive
  • Internal customer feedback: positive

Requirements

  • Valid licence
  • Demonstrated expertise in operating assigned vehicles
  • Positive 'can do' attitude
  • Desirable: Completion of driver operations certificate
