About the RoleDue to continued growth and project demand, we are looking for a skilled Draftsperson with strong proficiency in ArchiCAD and a solid understanding of residential construction. You'll be part of a high-performing drafting team responsible for producing accurate documentation, coordinating with consultants, and offering design suggestions to support better project delivery.
Key Responsibilities- Complete all allocated drafting tasks within agreed deadlines, proactively resolving technical matters with your manager.
- Commission reports and technical information with external consultants and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by recommending innovative building methods or materials for cost advantages.
- Liaise with the team to ensure designs meet compliance and aesthetic standards.
- Advanced ArchiCAD skills with demonstrated experience in residential drafting.
- At least 5 years' experience in the residential housing and construction industry.
- Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in preparing construction documentation.
- Tertiary qualifications in Drafting and/or Design highly regarded.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines and resolve technical issues.
