Residential Construction Contracting Specialist

Estimator Contract Administrator is a crucial role in the construction industry, responsible for managing the estimating and contracts administration process on residential projects.
Your Responsibilities:- Analyse architectural plans, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate cost estimates for high-end residential construction projects.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, material pricing, and labour estimates for various trades and scopes of work.
- Prepare, review, and administer contracts, including subcontractor agreements, purchase orders, and variations.
- Assist in the procurement process by obtaining quotes, negotiating contracts, and selecting suitable suppliers.
- Monitor project costs, track variations, and provide accurate and timely reports on project financials.
- Manage progress claims, invoicing, and ensure timely payment to subcontractors and suppliers.
- A minimum three years' experience as an Estimator/Contract Administrator across architecturally designed residential projects is required.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and detailing is essential.
- Excellent attention to detail, with the ability to pick up on inconsistencies or issues early, is a must.
- Proficiency using Procore is highly desirable.
- A proactive, accountable approach, with the ability to manage own time and deliver reliable results, is key.
