Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned healthcare professional to assume a key leadership position within our care team. This role involves providing high-quality care to residents, ensuring their dignity and well-being are respected and prioritized.

This challenging opportunity requires the ability to supervise and assist other care staff, build strong partnerships with residents, and work collaboratively with a supportive team to coordinate and deliver care.

The successful candidate will possess excellent clinical skills, including wound dressing, medication administration, condition assessments, and referrals. They will also be proficient in using iCare, our electronic reporting system.

A critical component of this role is evaluating and maintaining care plans to meet the changing needs of residents. The successful candidate will have strong analytical and problem-solving skills to ensure the highest level of care is provided at all times.

Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (DIV 1) with current AHPRA registration
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in aged care
  • Proficient computer skills, including working knowledge of iCare
  • Strong understanding of WHS responsibilities, including manual handling principles
  • Knowledge of aged care legislation, accreditation, and ANACC
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Valid police check clearance
  • Eligibility to work in Australia
