Executive Director Role

We are seeking an experienced leader to join our team as Executive Director - Health Insights.

This role is critical in providing governments, stakeholders, and the broader community with valuable evidence and insights into key issues affecting the health and welfare of Australians.

  • Lead and oversee the work of three AIHW Groups: Primary and Community Care & Information Standards Group, Health Systems & Performance Group, and Population Health Group.

To be successful, you will have experience leading data management, analytical, reporting, and/or statistical functions, and a strong working understanding of the Australian health and welfare landscape.

You will excel in working in complex environments and will be forward thinking, innovative, and adept at building relationships across a broad range of sectors.

Your integrity, judgement, and strong leadership credentials will be paramount, complemented by intellectual rigor, critical analysis, and first-class communication and presentation skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results in similar roles and will be passionate about making a positive impact on the health and wellbeing of Australians.
