Facilities Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Coordinator to play a pivotal role in supporting our ambition to strengthen Queensland's building and construction industry.
About the RoleAs a Facilities Coordinator, you will be responsible for coordinating and undertaking the delivery of high-quality maintenance activities, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials. You will also provide supervisory services in respect to the delivery of construction maintenance and upgrade work undertaken by our team.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation of Tender Documents
- Assisting in the planning and delivery of projects through the efficient supervision and development of office staff, field staff, and subcontractors.
- Coordination and undertaking of condition assessment services for our clients, including inspections/surveys of building elements and construction materials.
- Undertaking inspection services, including tenancy management services and maintenance referrals on behalf of Government Employee Housing.
- Participating in and facilitating WHS audits under the direction of the Regional WHS Adviser.
- Ensuring all job documentation includes safe work method statements or other risk assessment documentation as appropriate.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Current Workplace Health and Safety General Safety Induction Card. A construction industry-related trade qualification would be considered favourably.
