Overview of the Role
The practice manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of a clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and supporting business growth.
Key responsibilities include managing clinic operations, developing policies and procedures, overseeing recruitment and training, and liaising with medical professionals.
- Manage staffing, scheduling, inventory, and financial management
- Develop and implement policies to optimise clinic workflows and patient experience
- Oversee recruitment, training, and performance management of the clinic team
- Liaise with medical professionals to ensure seamless coordination of patient care
- Analyse and report on key performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Manage vendor relationships and procurement of necessary supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with all relevant healthcare regulations and standards
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the clinic's strategic plan
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience and Qualifications
- Experience in a healthcare practice management role is an advantage
- Strong understanding of medical practice operations and healthcare industry regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Demonstrate problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
- Proven leadership abilities, with the capacity to motivate and develop a team
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as business, healthcare administration, or management is an advantage
