Practice Manager

Randstad is partnering with a highly regarded surgical practice on the Gold Coast, seeking a dedicated Practice Manager to lead the day-to-day administration and operational efficiency. This is a four-day work week (Monday–Thursday) role with a regular long weekend. Location: Benowa. Salary: $78,000–$85,000k + Super.
You'll join a team of four highly skilled orthopaedic surgeons and sports doctors, in a culture that values outstanding patient care and a positive workplace environment. The current Practice Manager (one of the owners) will provide a thorough handover and ongoing support.
Responsibilities- Leading, coaching, and mentoring the administrative team.
- Overseeing all aspects of patient services and practice operations.
- Ensuring compliance with Medicare, health funds, and other insurers.
- Coordinating practice systems and workflows; experience with Genie is highly desirable.
- Managing administrative oversight; note that surgical billing, payroll, and end-of-month processing are handled by external providers.
The ideal candidate is a kind, calm, and highly organized leader with a background in practice management, ideally within a specialist or surgical setting. Strong understanding of Medicare and third-party billing, and a compassionate, hardworking approach to leading a dedicated team.
