Senior Dynamics Finance and Operations Solutions Architect Role Overview

This is a key architect role for implementing various modules of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) for Finance and Operations.

  • The primary focus will be on leading the D365 Finance/Project Accounting Workstream, ensuring smooth project execution.
  • You will perform solution advisory and architecture roles in analysis phases of D365 F&O implementations.
  • A business process analysis workshop will be conducted to identify optimal solutions.
  • The successful candidate will accurately estimate entire enterprise-level projects, including resources and skillsets required.
  • Solution blueprints will be developed and fit/gap analysis will be performed to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • You will advise on solution design, development, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Formal processes will be established for testing and issue resolution, focusing on functional architecture and integration points.
  • Functional specifications, unit tests, and deployment plans will be finalized and signed off by you.
  • You will provide training on application use and maintenance to ensure client success.
  • As an escalation point for support issues during and after projects, your expertise will be invaluable.
  • You will stay up-to-date with changing implementation methodologies and share best practices within the team.
  • Travel may be required to meet client and business demands.

  • Strong leadership and consulting skills, with experience in client management, are required.
