We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) in Rouse Hill. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing technical support to the repair and maintenance operations within the workshop.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement repair procedures and validation methodologies.
- Manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for electro-mechanical parts.
- Oversee the repair loop and technicians conducting repair works.
- Support cost reduction initiatives, including sourcing and industrial activities.
- Analyze technical performance and maintenance plan efficiency, identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with Operations Engineers to enhance maintenance operations and promote the use of latest maintenance techniques and R&D developments.
We value passion and attitude over experience. To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- A passion for process improvement and operational excellence.
- Demonstrated experience in systems/application engineering or similar.
- Experience in Rolling Stock maintenance (preferred).
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechatronic or similar).
