About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at our Repair and Overhaul Center (ROC) in Rouse Hill. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for providing Mechatronic Engineering support to the repair and maintenance operations within the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement repair procedures and validation methodologies.
  • Define and manage the Bill of Materials (BOM) for Electro-Mechanical parts.
  • Manage the Repair Loop and technicians conducting repair works.
  • Support cost reduction initiatives, including sourcing and industrial activities.
  • Analyze technical performances of systems and maintenance plans/processes, and develop action plans to improve them.
  • Identify improvements in maintenance operations and perform engineering interface activities with Operations Engineers.
  • Promote the use of latest maintenance techniques and R&D developments (CBM, RCM, Lean).
About You

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • A passion for process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Demonstrated experience in systems/application engineering or similar.
  • Experience in Rolling Stock maintenance (preferred).
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (Mechatronic or similar).
