
Merchant Banking Specialist

This role offers the chance to bring your sales expertise and passion for driving growth to a fast-paced business environment.
As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through outbound lead generation, door-to-door prospecting, cold calling / email, referrals and more.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meticulously managing leads and deals pipeline within a CRM tool with outstanding hygiene and attention to detail.
- Owning the full sales cycle including planning, cold calling, qualifying, obtaining information, due diligence, and closing new deals to achieve individual targets.
- Translating complex merchant business banking and merchant services requirements into a succinct, simple and beautiful solution.
You will spend your days working closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop commercially sound deals that meet their requirements.
Deliver an outstanding first impression for merchants by using storytelling, case studies, pitch decks and industry news to inspire them about how we are the right business banking partner for them.
Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, including business owners, decision-makers, and other relevant parties.
Stay up-to-date with SME, technology, fintech, payments, competitor and industry trends that are relevant to your merchants.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
