Job Title: Food Inventory Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced and skilled team leader to oversee inventory operations at our cafes situated in a leading hospital. This is a dynamic role where you will manage stock, invoicing, and front-of-house operations during quieter periods.

  • This role offers the opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who share your passion for delivering exceptional customer service and driving results.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Managing goods receivable and placing orders with suppliers
  • Verifying and submitting invoices accurately
  • Training team members in store processes and procedures
  • Maintaining a clean workspace in accordance with hygiene standards
  • Reporting and communicating necessary information and feedback to the Store Manager regarding any and all aspects of store operations
  • Assisting with food and beverage preparation, including coffee service when required

About You

Requirements:
  • 1-2 years experience in inventory or stock control within a food business (required)
  • Previous team leadership or supervisory experience
  • Barista experience is highly regarded (training can also be provided on the job)
  • Strong understanding of café operations in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
