Inventory Management Specialist

The role of Inventory Management Specialist is a crucial one, as you will be responsible for overseeing the stockroom operations and ensuring that all inventory is accurately managed.

This involves receiving and processing deliveries, managing stock movement, and minimizing stock loss. You will also be responsible for coaching and training your team on inventory management procedures.

The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role within a high-turnover retailer, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Inventory management experience is preferred, but not essential.

About the Role
  • Manage daily priorities for stock to floor and delivery processing
  • Plan and manage stock deliveries to achieve a door-to-floor period of 24 hours
  • Ensure maximum stock availability through effective management of replenishment systems
  • Optimize the back-of-house layout for efficiency and ease of access to best-selling items
  • Assist with stock loss management and procedures
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work towards tight deadlines in a timely manner, without compromising output
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, Excel, Word, etc.
