About the Position

Our organization is seeking a skilled professional to coordinate and deliver electrical works across Canberra. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing work packages, managing subcontractors, and supporting crews with everything they need to get the job done right.

This role is suitable for someone with an electrical trade background who enjoys being out in the field, working closely with crews, and ensuring jobs are scoped, planned, and delivered safely and efficiently.

  • Prepare and manage work packages for field crews, ensuring all required resources, subcontractors, and safety measures are in place before work begins
  • Coordinate and deliver work packages to crews, ensuring clear communication and alignment with project timelines and safety standards
  • Lead crews on-site throughout the day by actively guiding and supporting them to ensure safe and efficient delivery
  • Lead daily pre-starts on site to set the tone for safety, clarity, and productivity, ensuring everyone is aligned and ready to deliver
  • Liaise with stakeholders to plan outages, manage access, and support smooth project delivery
  • Ensure quality assurance processes are followed, and that all completed works are accurately captured for invoicing and close-out
  • Manage subcontractors on-site, ensuring they meet safety, quality, and performance expectations
  • Support compliance with safety and environmental standards, conducting site checks and promoting a safety-first culture
About You

As a seasoned electrical professional, you have a solid understanding of what it takes to get the job done right in the field.

You are organized, safety-focused, and confident working with crews, clients, and contractors to keep things on track.

  • A qualification in electrical engineering (essential), as well as at least 5 years' experience in the electrical industry
  • Previous experience in planning, scoping, and/or leading field crews
  • Strong understanding of subcontractor disciplines and job requirements
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills
  • A proactive approach to following processes and ensuring quality
