Field Marketing Specialist

**Company Description**:
The Field Marketing Specialist (FMS) supports the Field Marketing Manager (FMM) in building the local face of Red Bull in their field in the most relevant way and in line with the global and national strategies and priorities. They work with the FMM to build strong local networks including opinion-leaders and key influencers both online (social media) and offline. They help to create and implement marketing initiatives in the four key pillars of the marketing mix (Student Marketing, Sports, Culture and Red Bull Media Network) leveraging On Premise, Off Premise and New Business opportunities, encompassing local needs and specificities and therefore impacting the heart of local consumers, ultimately leading to the successful development of the business. The FMS is constantly out 'in the field' to make things happen, this is not an 'office' job.

**STRATEGIC DIRECTION AND RIGHTNESS OF BRAND PRIORITIES**

You will work closely with the FMM on the implementation of the field strategy and on defining ideas and programs to build brand health and grow understanding of the product functionality & relevance on a local level. You will successfully execute marketing program fundamentals in a truly tailored way, seizing opportunities to implement proven best practices where they suit local needs, Driving consumer trial through activities in line with brand values, international guidelines and expectations to win consumers. You will work cross functionally managing internal & external requests with strong commercial acumen to ensure our marketing efforts are paying back into driving can sales and work closely with sales teams to drive product availability in the right sales accounts in your region.

**STUDENT MARKETING PROGRAM MANAGEMENT**

You will communicate clear expectations and guidelines for Student Marketeers to effectively plan and deliver on infusing Red Bull into student life during key moments to create a consistent program of exciting and relevant university initiatives that build brand and can love among students with a focus on emerging generations, Ensuring our university program has a strong sales support program in place to drive distribution and stimulate sales, excite the trade and improve in store visibility in and around university. You will set clear goals and program balance together with the Student Marketing Manager and Field Marketing Manager to drive trial that engages new users, offering the right product mix to expand the consumer base and the right business priority split to seize all opportunities in your region.

**PREMIUM APPEAL AND EXECUTIONAL EXCELLENCE**

You will support the FMM in creating and supporting events, scenes, and marketing opportunities aligned with Red Bull brand values and local consumer and media landscape, focusing on participation, Identifying and managing key Opinion Leaders & Influencers, fostering beneficial relationships for Red Bull and Externals. You will coach Student Marketeers in the field for excellent program execution and brand building. Implement best practices around universities to achieve program objectives & drive positive consumer trial through effective sampling interactions, overcoming barriers and negative perceptions.

**MARKETING INNOVATION**

You will be a key player in developing, owning and executing new ideas that are locally relevant complementing the activation of global and national initiatives. Based on the knowledge and understanding of the region, help come up with digital and social media initiatives as an integral part of success in field activities. You will identify and selectively support cross-marketing (with sales, marketing & Red Bull Media House) opportunities with integrated 360 plans that fit the needs of the region. You will involve SM team in idea generation for the field and capitalize on their personal university lifestyle to identify technology / digitally / socially driven consumer trends early and lead the creative process with SMs to ensure a constant flow of new ideas to build loyalty within the student audience.

**Qualifications**:
3 years work experience in sports or music/culture industry, events or marketing agency.

An 'executor' who is comfortable planning and executing events and pulls the trigger on local strategies.

A 'connector' who has excellent communication and networking skills, who can open doors and excite people of an idea.

A 'team player' who has ability to multi-task and work in cross-functional teams with different objectives and personalities.

Experience ideally in hiring, training and managing/coaching a team
