About the Role

Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking a skilled Field Service Foreman to join our team in Darwin. Reporting to the Service Manager, this permanent position offers an attractive 8 on 6 off roster and a competitive remuneration package.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader to oversee a remote team of qualified Field Service Fitters, coordinating service and repair operations for Cat equipment across various industries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer expectations and deliver high-level, timely, and cost-effective customer service.
  • Lead and manage a team, providing logistical support and upholding company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate scheduling, provide diagnostic and technical support, and troubleshoot solutions.

About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Trade qualifications and significant post-trade experience with Cat or heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Proven experience in Field Services and mechanical diagnostics.
  • Leadership and supervisory experience with a focus on productivity and quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
