About the Role

As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our hotels' facilities. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day maintenance requirements of the hotels, including completing daily plant rounds, performing routine maintenance tasks, and assisting with repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Maintenance Manager in planning and prioritizing maintenance tasks to ensure deadlines are met and emergencies are handled effectively.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing equipment as needed.
  • Complete daily plant rounds to identify any issues or potential problems, and report back to the Maintenance Manager.
  • Liaise with other departments to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repair and preventative schedules.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 12 months demonstrated experience in general building maintenance.
  • Previous experience working in hotel or resort settings is highly desirable.
  • Trade qualification is preferred, but not essential.
  • Ability to operate a variety of equipment, including small hand tools.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Hub OS and HumanForce.
  • Good level of spoken English.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum
