Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Investigator to join our team.
The role of the Investigator is to engage in a range of activities aligned to building and plumbing compliance and enforcement (C&E) initiated investigations into suspected breaches of legislation, regulations, and professional standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A proven track record in a regulatory environment undertaking investigations, gathering information, and evidence.
- A Certificate IV in Government Investigations, or equivalent qualification.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal skills.
- The ability to be decisive, flexible, while maintaining impartiality, objectivity, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
Investigations
Gather and analyse case data and information. Prepare statements, reports, and briefs of evidence in line with C&E requirements.
Conduct interviews and provide advice and information to industry stakeholders.
Engage in divisional initiatives and work collaboratively as part of a united team.
