Facilities Manager Role

We are seeking a Facilities Manager to join our team, responsible for managing the operation and presentation of our Centres. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence.

This role involves overseeing project delivery, ensuring the efficient operation of Centre's physical aspects, and managing operating expenditure. The successful applicant will also be responsible for managing the supply chain to deliver high-quality services that meet agreed standards and are cost-effective.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assume responsibility for the operation and presentation of our Centre(s).
  • Manage the supply chain to deliver high-quality services that meet agreed standards and are cost-effective.
  • Collaborate with budgets to ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Manage capital works, including tenancy delivery projects.
  • Develop and drive improvement programs to reduce waste, energy consumption, and water usage.
  • Maintain a safe and enjoyable environment for all occupants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholder groups.
  • Identify and manage improvements through compliance assessments.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of retail operations experience with a Diploma of FM or Bachelor in a related field, or
  • 5-7 years of retail operations experience without formal education.
  • Proven experience in customer service and effective relationship management.
  • Experience in managing resources.
  • Solid knowledge of OH&S practices.
  • A strong client service focus with excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
