Overview:

P3M Capability Specialist Lead

This role plays a pivotal part in shaping delivery excellence at the organisation.

You will lead and empower the P3M community through hands-on leadership, strategic influence, and practical delivery excellence.

  • Establish and lead a Community of Practice to foster collaboration, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and embed professional standards for the P3M delivery community.
  • Contribute to the Workforce Strategy, aligning sourcing and capability development with organisational needs.
  • Influence the Workforce Capability Framework, ensuring it reflects evolving project, program, and portfolio delivery capabilities.
  • Design and deliver capability uplift programs, including training material development and facilitation across the delivery community.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for innovation and efficiency to enhance delivery outcomes.
  • Provide consultancy-style support to project teams, working hand-in-hand to embed best practices and uplift delivery maturity.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in complex delivery environments
  • Deep understanding of project and program methodologies
  • Proven experience in capability building, coaching project staff, and delivering training programs
