About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Risk and Compliance Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in embedding and enhancing regulatory compliance capability across our Divisions.

The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in regulatory frameworks and risk management, ideally within financial services. They will bring a strong understanding of APRA, ASIC, and other regulatory bodies, and have a proven track record in designing and implementing effective compliance controls.

This is a leadership opportunity to mentor Compliance Analysts and collaborate across the three lines of defence to deliver best-practice compliance outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To support the implementation of our Compliance Strategy and standards, ensuring alignment with regulatory obligations and fostering a proactive risk culture.
  • To work closely with Business Unit leaders, Line 2 (Group Risk), and other stakeholders to provide pragmatic compliance advice, design and implement effective controls, and monitor adherence to internal and external compliance requirements.
  • To contribute to risk-in-change assessments, support governance and training initiatives, and lead the implementation of remedial actions to uplift compliance maturity across the Group.
About You

You'll be a seasoned compliance professional with a bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, Risk Management, or a related field. Professional certifications such as AACI or ACI 10980NAT will be highly regarded.

You'll have experience with compliance monitoring tools, systems, and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
