Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitter Required

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Vehicle Tyre Fitter to join our North Tivoli Maintenance Team. As part of our dynamic operations throughout Queensland, the successful candidate will be responsible for tyre maintenance across heavy vehicles, trailers and plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove, inspect, repair and fit tyres for trucks, trailers, plant and light vehicles
  • Conduct routine pressure checks, rotate tyres and assess wear patterns
  • Identify and report any tyre-related defects or mechanical concerns
  • Manage tyre stock levels and assist with ordering when required
  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised workshop environment
  • Assist with basic mechanical repairs and general maintenance tasks
  • Collaborate with workshop and fleet teams to ensure timely vehicle turnaround
  • Uphold all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in tyre fitting, preferably within heavy vehicle, transport or civil industries
  • A current driver's licence (HC licence highly regarded)
  • General Construction Certificate (White or Blue Card)
  • Strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating roster
  • A positive attitude, reliability and strong work ethic
