About the Role

This role would suit someone who aligns to our values and has a solid background in tyre maintenance across heavy vehicles, trailers and plant equipment, with a hands-on approach to workshop operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remove, inspect, repair, and fit tyres for trucks, trailers, plant, and light vehicles.
  • Conduct routine pressure checks, rotate tyres, and assess wear patterns.
  • Identify and report any tyre-related defects or mechanical concerns.
  • Manage tyre stock levels and assist with ordering when required.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment.
  • Assist with basic mechanical repairs and general maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with workshop and fleet teams to ensure timely vehicle turnaround.
  • Uphold all safety procedures and contribute to a positive safety culture.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will ideally have:

  • A proven track record of experience in tyre fitting, preferably within heavy vehicle, transport, or civil industries.
  • A current driver's licence (HC licence highly regarded).
  • A strong understanding of workplace health and safety practices.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • High attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
  • Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks.
  • Flexibility to work occasional Saturdays as part of a rotating roster.
