Indigenous Initiatives Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Officer to join our team. This is an Identified role, and we are committed to promoting equity and excellence in education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement specialist projects to achieve training and development outcomes.
- Oversee the development, implementation, and monitoring of nominated projects, including coordination of associated activities.
- Manage liaison, communication, and coordination with other teams across the department contributing to the project.
- Assist in coordinating the development and implementation of policies, practices, and procedures.
- Provide support services for schools to encourage educational participation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students.
Mandatory Requirements:
This position requires verification of Aboriginality and/or Torres Strait Island heritage. An Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person is someone who identifies as such and is either of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander descent or accepted by the community in which they live.
