Retail Banking Services (RBS) Finance operates as a partner to the RBS business and other business units by providing financial information, advice and support.

The RBS Finance team functions as a business partner integrated with the management of the product and distribution businesses yet maintains a one step removed status to promote objectivity and independence of analysis and advice.

The RBS Business Performance team provides business performance information and reporting, financial analysis, data and commercially driven insights.

The Executive Manager of Business Performance leads and inspires four diverse and critical teams – Performance Reporting, Data Analytics, Frontline Reporting and Line 1 Risk.

This role entails strategic and commercial advice provision to the RBS Leadership team and RBS CFO, supports the RBS CFO and Performance Management GM, and provides a holistic view of financial performance across all of RBS.

The Executive Manager of Business Performance is responsible for end-to-end oversight of the weekly, monthly, quarterly, half and full yearly performance reporting process for RBS.

Key responsibilities include driving RBS business outcomes, preparing high quality presentations, engaging with and building strong relationships with Finance related stakeholders, acting as the key point of contact for the RBS CFO and Group Finance, and managing and being supported by a team of direct and indirect reports.
