Lead the Reservations Team

As a key member of our reservations team, you will be responsible for monitoring and measuring daily performance to maximize revenue opportunities while providing exceptional service to guests via telephone and email.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the reservations team to ensure accurate booking rates, dates, and booking details.
  • Work closely with the Front Office team to sell the hotel, convert enquiries to reservations, and be aware of all promotions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, listening to guests to understand their needs and offer the most suitable options.
  • Work with Sales & Marketing to promote packages and special offers, while monitoring Group Reservations to ensure quotes are being actioned in a timely manner.
  • Establish pick up trends, occupancy history, and market segment development to facilitate accurate forecasting.
  • Control rooms inventory, including allotments, groups, and individual reservations.
  • Work closely with the Revenue Manager to determine pricing planning and provide input into forecast figures.
  • Promote all hotel facilities, cross-sell, and upsell where appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience executing the reservations function in a luxury hotel is advantageous.
  • Passionate about creating memorable guest experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
  • Proven track record in leading and developing team members.
  • Experience with Opera Cloud and property booking systems is required.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
