About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics and Compliance Expert to lead our transportation operations. This is a challenging opportunity for a seasoned professional to oversee both 3PL and State-based logistics, ensuring compliance, safety, and performance improvement across the network.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure adherence to government and regulatory standards, including NHVR and CoR
  • Uphold company policies, WHS guidelines, Food Safety Accreditations, and specific requirements
  • Lead 3PL and State operations teams
  • Manage escalated customer queries, grievances, and staff disciplinary matters
  • Drive operational performance and profitability through effective methods and strategies
  • Conduct reviews to identify continuous improvement opportunities
  • Create and implement an operational plan to support strategic business growth
  • Partner with the General Manager of Operations to recruit and retain top talent, coach and manage staff performance; facilitate appraisals, PIPs, and discipline when necessary
  • Set and monitor annual performance goals
  • Oversee P&L, budgets, and cost reporting
The Successful Applicant will demonstrate the following skills and attributes:
  • Sound knowledge of NHVR and CoR regulations
  • Demonstrated experience in transport and logistics
  • Strong senior-level operational management experience
  • Excellent administrative capabilities
  • High competency in Food Safety, WHS, and HR practices, including people and budget management
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills
  • Proven track record in coaching, staff development, and disciplinary processes
