Automotive Parts Interpreter

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Parts Interpreter to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for motor vehicles to build a career in the automotive industry.

This role involves accurately and efficiently interpreting the parts and accessories required by retail, trade, and internal customers. You will be responsible for quoting, sourcing, and ordering parts in line with customer and workshop needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Parts Interpretation: Accurately interpret parts requirements from customers.
  • Quoting and Sourcing: Provide accurate quotes and source parts from suppliers.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records and assist with inventory management.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service at the counter, over the phone, and via email.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Experience: Previous experience in dealership parts operations or as an automotive parts interpreter is desirable.
  • Knowledge: Sound knowledge of vehicle makes, models, and parts systems.
  • Skills: Proficient with electronic parts catalogues and dealer management systems. Strong communication, time management, and customer service skills.
  • Licences: A current driver's licence and forklift licence (desirable).
