Overview

Motor Claims Consultant role at IAG — permanent full-time role with flexible working arrangements. This role can be based in Wollongong (Dharawal Country), Parramatta, Syndey (Dharug country), or Adelaide (Tarndanya ). Ideally located within an hour's commute of one of these office locations. Part-time hours are available and can be tailored to fit your schedule—open to negotiation

This is a permanent full-time role offering great flexible working arrangements. We're looking for multiple Motor Claims Consultants to join our high-energy team. Motor Claims High Impact is a dynamic team, encouraging an environment for working both autonomously and as part of a high-achieving team, all while providing a supportive culture that empowers our team to thrive and deliver exceptional customer service.

This is a dynamic role, providing you with excellent exposure. Responding to high volume of inbound calls, you'll provide subject matter expertise to customers on effective complaints management processes to support and enable positive customer outcomes.

This is an opportunity to truly enhance your skill set, as you'll have access to industry-leading developmental and training programs. We provide 6 weeks of training and a Rockpool period to ensure you are well-prepared for the role. Each day will be different, as you'll put on your thinking hat and offer appropriate customer solutions to vulnerable customers.

Responsibilities
  • Respond to a high volume of inbound calls, provide subject matter expertise to customers on effective complaints management processes to support and enable positive customer outcomes.
  • Participate in industry-leading developmental and training programs (6 weeks of training and a Rockpool period).
  • Provide appropriate customer solutions to vulnerable customers while delivering exceptional service.
About You
  • Strong technical experience in the insurance claims industry is advantageous.
  • Strong phone conversation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, listen and resolve customer enquiries
  • Demonstrated resilience and empathy towards customers
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-centric mindset
  • Proficient with computers & systems - juggling multiple software systems at the same time
