Construction Finance Specialist

Our organization seeks a skilled Finance Coordinator to support the financial management of multiple construction projects. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to provide accurate reporting, forecasting, and operational support across the business.
About the Role- Manage accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, Business Activity Statement (BAS) preparation, payroll coordination, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain project budgets and cash flow forecasts; support weekly and monthly reporting cycles and ensure real-time visibility over job performance.
- Assist with financial planning, variance analysis, and preparation of internal reports and presentations.
- Monitor contract claims, progress payments, retentions, and ensure financial records reflect contractual obligations.
The successful candidate will possess a solid background in construction accounting, strong financial systems skills, and the ability to manage day-to-day processes while contributing to broader planning and analysis.
Requirements- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in construction finance or project accounting
- Knowledge of financial software is highly regarded, but not essential. Training will be provided.
- Understanding of construction contracts, claims, and retention frameworks
