About the Roles

We're expanding our positive behaviour support services into Canberra, Darwin, Maroochydore and Hobart, and we're looking for passionate and experienced Behaviour Support Practitioners and Clinical Supervisors to help us launch services in these regions.

Whether you're an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner ready to move or a seasoned clinician seeking a leadership role, we want to hear from you. Relocation packages are available.

What You'll Do

Depending on your experience, you will :

• Deliver person-centred positive behaviour support to participants in their communities
• Develop high-quality, functional, strengths-based behaviour support plans
• Collaborate with families, support networks, and other professionals
• Contribute to Everyday Independence's values-based and evidence-informed practice
• For Clinical Supervisors, mentor colleagues, support early-career therapists, promote clinical excellence, facilitate learning, and model our Clinical Model and values

Who We Are Looking For

We seek individuals who share our values and can integrate into our collaborative environment.

To work as a Behaviour Support Practitioner, you need a relevant tertiary qualification (Bachelor, Masters or Graduate Diploma) and registration such as:

• Occupational Therapist with AHPRA registration
• Speech Pathologist with SPA registration
• Social Worker with AASW membership eligibility
• Mental Health Nurse with AHPRA registration
• Degree in Psychology, Social Science, or related field

We're seeking motivated and enthusiastic team members who :

• Are endorsed by your supervisor as Proficient, Advanced, or Specialist Practitioner
• Possess NDIS Behaviour Support Registration Suitability Letter and extensive community/disability experience
• Can complete timely reports for the NDIS commission
• Have a positive attitude and thrive collaboratively
• Are committed to mentoring and development
• Understand contemporary therapy practices and aim for participant outcomes
• Can influence and inspire others

You'll also need :

• Minimum 2 years experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner
• A positive, flexible approach
• Strong communication skills and teamwork
• Commitment to growth
• A valid Australian driver's license
• Current Working with Children Check
• Current NDIS Workers Screening Check
