We're seeking a highly skilled professional to join our team as a Research Officer in Population Health.

As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for providing analysis of data for online publication and presentation in the Social Health Atlas of Australia.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in analyzing large datasets, creating visualizations, and communicating complex information to diverse audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extract, process, and analyze data from various sources using MS Excel
  • Develop and maintain databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project objectives
  • Design and implement effective data visualization strategies

Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in health sciences, social sciences, statistics, or related fields
  • Highly developed analytical and technical skills, including proficiency in MS Office and statistical software
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in a team environment
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Knowledge of data analytics tools and technologies, such as Tableau, Power BI, and JSON
