We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as a Health and Wellness Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to improving the health and wellbeing of people in Western Sydney by planning and implementing healthy eating and active living programs for older adults.

Key Responsibilities:

">

• Plan, implement, evaluate and disseminate population health projects promoting healthy eating and active living in the older population.
• Establish and maintain partnerships with community, government and business organisations and agencies to facilitate collaborative action.
• Work effectively in a cross-cultural context, particularly with members of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander community and Culturally & Linguistically Diverse communities.
• Demonstrate high level written and oral communication skills; computer skills; and negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Requirements:

">

• Relevant tertiary qualifications at graduate level or above in population health, health promotion, public health, or other relevant areas.
• Project management skills including demonstrated ability to plan, implement, evaluate, and disseminate a population health project report on the outcomes of a project.
• Current Drivers Licence valid within Australia.
