Job Title: Population Health Data AnalystAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Population Health Data Analyst to join our team. As a key member of our research unit, you will provide high-level biostatistical and data management support to research projects and surveillance programs.

As a Population Health Data Analyst, you will work closely with our team to design and implement studies, collect and analyze data, and develop reports and presentations. You will also collaborate with other researchers and stakeholders to advance population health knowledge and inform policy decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide biostatistical and data management support to research projects and surveillance programs.

  • Develop and maintain databases, statistical models, and data visualizations to support research and decision-making.

Requirements:

  1. Tertiary level qualifications in biostatistics or relevant tertiary qualifications or extensive experience in biostatistics.
  2. Advanced programming skills in R or Python, including experience with machine learning algorithms and data visualization tools.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and communicate findings effectively.
  4. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  5. Ability to obtain an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2).
